Haritalika Teej festival Being Observed across the nation

KATHMANDU: Hindu ladies the country over are commending the Haritalika Teej celebration with enthusiasm and get-up-and-go on Wednesday.

The day falls on the third day of Shukla Paksha (splendid fortnight) in the month of Bhadra.

Ladies praise the celebration by fasting, singing, moving and offering requests to God to Lord Shiva. The celebration likewise denote the union of Shiva and Parbati.
